ZOOM ON THE MUSICAL JEWELS
Last week, Voltage Festival announced the full lineup for this summer. The festival comes back with a sharp selection, including industrial techno, acid techno, deep house and also a bit of hardcore. It will take place in an old abandoned electricity plant, near Kortrijk, from August 18 to 19. The basses will resonate in Zwevegem !
Spring is (almost) back and it’s time to plan our summer trips. We advise you to go to the old electricity plant of Zwevegem where the Voltage festival will take place during two days. The programme will feature famous techno artists like SHDW & OBSCRURE, Rrose and Speedy J. For acid techno, 999999 and Bion-x are not to be missed.
The festival has also chosen artists supported by the unavoidable collective HATE. We will feed our ears with Boston 168, Amotik for a spectral techno set and Keith Carnal for a hint of magic. Cosmin Trg will also be there for a hypnotic set that will make our ears shudder with mesmerizing vocals.
Among all these men, Lindsay Goethals known as Trixy will also be spinning platters. This Belgian DJ has already proven her skills more than once, for, among others, at the Rave Cave of Tomorrowland and at Lost Theory. Another woman is also on the program and she comes from Tbilissi, in Georgia. It’s Ana Kublashvili, Newa, also supported by the collective HATE, who will play us some properly constructed sounds.
A good Belgian festival cannot do without some heavy weights. We found the young Cellini, DJ and founder of the concept Cycle Four ; Goldfox, DJ, promoter and resident at Studio Brussel ; Nico Morano, one of the king of deep house and melodic sets in Belgium. The duo Ode Maen & Massaar Pilose, Border One, Phara, Endove and Siwei, worth to discover if you still don’t know them, are also announced. Apart from them, KRTM from the label PRSPCT will be there to accelerate the BPMs. What more could one wish for ?
