Over the past months, the Belgian label Eternal Friction Records has been very active. After the recent releasing of Norbak’s EP and a remix by Svarog, the label is back with a new release and artist in its ranks. This time, Doug Cooney joins the label with a solid EP oriented towards “techno four on the floor.”
The Dublin artist signed 3 effective and striking tracks, enhanced with a remix by Jon Hester. The result is a modern-sounding EP. Each track is finely worked and gives an insight of Doug Cooney’s different influences.
Indeed, none of the tracks is alike. It is a journey through different universes where the tracks are complementary, share a guiding principle and reveal an undeniable production quality.
Doug Cooney is an artist to keep an eye on, as well as Eternal Friction Records!
