“DAWN OF DOWN”, SIWEI’S NEW EP [PREMIERE]

“Dawn of Down”, SIWEI’s new EP, was released on Thursday March 28. The young Antwerp artist, already known for his high-level live performances, is releasing an EP rich in his diverse influences.

The EP, which is released on his self-titled label, Siwei Recordings, includes 6 tracks, one of which is exclusively available in vinyl. Complex rhythms, deep atmospheres, dubstep basses and ambient sounds define the universe of his different tracks in which we undeniably find SIWEI’s unique style.

A few months ago, the artist already released a 6-track EP divided into 3 parts which featured a remix of A. Brehme. On this EP, we could explore his universe and mastery of his different tools, both hardware and software. Down of Dawn, his new EP, is different this time, both in its music universe and production. Indeed, SIWEI chose to produce it entirely digitally, with ableton – without using his usual hardware set-up. It was a bold choice and a perfectly managed challenge.

Available from March 28, Dawn of Down is a must-have for lovers of cinematic sounds and complex soundscapes.
