BORDER ONE RELEASE “HOST” EP ON HIS OWN LABEL

Border One is a Belgian Techno artist residing in Ghent. He always had a firm passion for music, be it electronical or jazz influenced, as the mind is always pulled towards creative and otherworldly music. Over the years he has steadily developed into a fine selector with an incredible steady and polished mixing style behind the turntables. But even more Border One crafts a unique journey throughout his productions: exploring the borders of his self-consciousness spectrum through sound, perception and melancholy.

What separates him from others is his unique modular synths sounds merged with solid rhythms and kicks. If you’ve been looking for tracks to push through tired bodies at 5am, chances are you’ll find something here.

In quick succession to the launch of his own label Border One Records, he presents the ‘Host’ EP. Four dance floor orientated cuts with twists and turns that suit different moods and a plethora of times and places. An ever grooving yet tunnelling affair that will easily find it’s way into every DJ’s record bag.

The “Host” EP follows a straight line from his previous releases on SK_eleven or Token Records and the earlier Reclaim Your City podcast, which means Border One is still exploring rhythms and modular synths sounds.
All cuts showcasing his mature vision after years of hard work in the studio. It’s easy to see and hear what makes Border One stand out of the crowd.
